Wondering why you cannot login today? The word from Evony (how legitimate it is, is anyone’s guess) is that their host is experiencing a DoS attack. The outages have been widespread, across every server, since early in the afternoon CST.
One of our main writers was in the middle of taking down a Lv.10 when he realized the guy was probably experiencing this outage, so he called off his attacks.
There is *no* word on the front of Evony.com- in fact, they just redid the front page to get more users. Our question is, Why not get it working properly for the current users, first?
Call it a DoS attack all you like, but the servers have been running more and more poorly over the past two weeks and this is the culmination of what we were expecting.
Expect more delays like this as the game grows in popularity- we strongly believe Evony may not have a scalable business model and that this is just the tip of the ice berg.

have been locked for almost two days cant get anything resembling close to being able to log on
The genius’s at evony are D-DoS’ing themselves so to speak. \
Too many people + not enough bandwidth= server crash/lag
well i ahve had this priblem and lost 500k archers and 100k cal so i really pissed
is this why the game is lagging so bad now??? and it logs you off and says network problem not to mention the colors of some words randomly turns white???
i did’t lost any troops and when i login i still hav 60 zil food. i nagative 90.7K Food per hour. i got all farms no ironmine, sawmills and quarry .only farms.if i want resource , i get froom babarian. i hav 966zil gold. enough to buy tons of food.
