EvonyMasters Poll: What do you want to see in Evony?

So, what would you like to see added to Evony?

We have compiled a list of what we have come up with. Feel free to get behind one of our ideas or provide one of your own in comments- Be sure to explain it well if you do!

1) Castle choice (Different castles when you are renaming) are reflected on Map view, rather than showing each castle the same.

This would be a very easy, game expanding addon.  Each castle level could be similar in size w/ different numbers of levels (for the round castle) and spires (for the “Disney” castle & others).

2) Ability to build sea-going vessels and relocate to islands off the coast.

This would allow the end users to go off to remote portions of Evony to form stronger alliances or to Exile people of high importance.  Don’t allow teleporting to these locations and only allow the users to move there when they’ve maxed out Privateering- at which point they can sail & reach these locations.

3) Ability to retreat from battle

This is a huge issue in the game right now.  Say you are one of 100k warriors and you think you’re going to fight 4k archers when you arrive.  Once you get to the battle, you realize there is actually 55k and you’re about to get slaughtered.  Nobody would stick around to see if anyone even stuck around, yet, in Evony, every single one of these guys dies.

4) Enhanced beginners protection

When a user tries to attack an NPC with a force way to small (the system can recognize if it will be a fight that lasts under 10 rounds) they should not let the fight occur the first time and provide a link to a tutorial.

    I have been playing and serviving for about 5 weeks. I really like playing alone and not being in an alliance. There should be special rules to help nonalliance players. Like being able to share gold with one another it would be like a secret alliance with a friend. It would really add alot to the game, think about it. I love the fact I have been able to servive this long. I’m like a underdog out there, its been a blast.

    I endorse Wolfzeros ideas + you should be able to control the troops in the field.
    Change course or muster them, split them into groups.
    Realistic warfare, allow ambushing of troops & markers on the map to show where your army is.
    Also allow building to be queud if you have the resources.

    Better war keeping stats. There is NO purpose to war currently. Server wide stats for each alliance is a must for life long continuity. Wars started, wars finished, wars won, wars lost, capitulation, area all options and stats that would need to be tracked. Limitations would have to be by alliance prestige, cannot declare war up or down beyond a certain%. Rewards for diplomatic resolutions (alliance with most allies in same territory=control of that territory, etc). Most of the ideas I have read are very self-serving, and not for the good of the game as an entity, so I support none of the 4 listed.

    There should be a possibility to trade items with other players. Or to sell them, expand the market. People often get stuff from the amulet that is useless to them, but usefull to others. For example I have 3 Ritual of pacts, whilst being in an Alliance with 100 members. Useless. That would be perfect. Let people put their items on the market, against the price they want, with a limit of 50% of the value.

    I don’t know how many times I have watched my troups go halfway across the map and turnaround and come back. The default should be changed to reinforce and the option to transport. At least then when I mess up all I have to do is return the empty transporters. Also it would save me having to write 2 orders to reinforce with troups and drop off food.

    I think you should be able to:

    a) take over someones last city to force a reset – as has been mentioned before – and
    b) be able to have an unlimited number of cities.

    I agree with a lot of the folks here: Building, transfer or sell unneeded stuff, Naval battles. In addition with the state of games we should be able to see the battles and any troops marching to attack. Better graphics would help especially if we can see battles, etc. The ability to really be able to reenforce alliance members and hand over troop control to them this way the alliances that are bullies would need to consider the entire alliance and not just the person they wish to attack, I think that is more realistic and likely happened during fuedel times anyway

    I think that in the new evony we should also be able to build more than one biulding at a time.

    i really like the idea of being able to trade items with alliance members.

    shoten the build and train time – some things just take forever.

    Well, personally, i think 2 and 3 are the most practical. my vote goes to 2.
