They are also making some improvements to several items in the game to make them more useful, so that your Cents go farther!
* The Wealth of Nations increases hero’s Politics by 25%. Effective for 7 days (up from 24 hours).
* Excalibur increases hero’s Attack by 25%. Effective for 7 days (up from 24 hours).
* The Art of War increases hero’s Intelligence by 25%. Effective for 7 days (up from 24 hours).
* Corselet increases Defence of attacking troops by 20% (up from 10%). Effective for 24 hours.
* Ultra Corselet increases Defence of attacking troops by 20% (up from 10%). Effective for 7 days.
* Penicillin decreases casualty by 30%. Effective for 7 days (up from 24 hours).
* War Horn increases Attack of attacking troops by 20% (up from 10%). Effective for 24 hours.
* Ivory Horn increases Attack of attacking troops by 20% (up from 10%). Effective for 7 days.
* Tax Policy increases tax revenue by 100% (up from 25%). Effective for 24 hours.
* Adv Tax Policy increases tax revenue by 100% (up from 25%). Effective for 7 days.
* Anabasis Increase hero’s Experience by 1,000 or 8% of current level cap (whichever is greater).
* Epitome of Military Science Increase hero’s Experience by 10,000 or 30% of current level cap (whichever is greater).
* On War Increase hero’s Experience by 100,000 or 100% of current level cap (whichever is greater).

If you have to spend money to get something then it is not free, it is a discount. Example buy one get one free. that means you are paying 50% for each item. Free is getting something with out spending your money.
I see that all of the “FREE” packages that are distributed after spending $30 incriments usually have the same items. It would be nice to obtain some new items when members spend their money on this game that is labeled as “FREE”. I, myself have spent $60 on this game in the past couple of months and am host of a high ranking alliance alliance and am sitting at about 200k prestige and find that beginner outlines and 20k resources are a joke in return for spending my hard earned money on this game… maybe it’s time to play a new game or maybe the Evony staff could put some better incentives on the board which might result in more members spending more money.
you can play for free, but you have the devil’s own time at the upper levels, trying to collect enough medals to progress beyond baronet. You’re actually penalized by the game, and the other players, by being unable to build a third fort, or whatever requires particular medals. and no conquering valleys doesnt work. you get one here, one way way over there and then nothing. sigh.
one suggestion I do have of a positive nature–the lvl 10 informatics and the very expensive lvl 10 beacon tower give no seeming advantage, when playing at that level. and as I recall, there isnt even a reward for one of them, which, considering the time and expense and resources put into these, there should be.
There should be some visible advantage to having both lvl ten towers and informatics, not simply a statement saying, ‘you need to upgrade your informatics to get more information…”
and a free package ‘worth’ $50 that only costs $30 is not free. The rewards inside are easily obtained if you have 80 cents in game coins from an amulet spin…
this is like sending someone a christmas present COD, lol.
300 usd is to high for the items they offer they should offer higher guide line and a lot more medal seeing you never get medal when attacking flats i have attack over 200 hundred flats and ever won one
If you’re going to spend money on this game, you are better off putting it into a premium account. You get 5 times your investment back and you can spend the coins on whatever you want.

it’s almost identical, right down to the starter building, the quests, the rewards, everything. The main difference is that it’s got better graphics and seems to be less buggy…

its only free, if you don’t want to exprience the game to its fullest.
In the short time I have played Evony I have logged maybe 300-400 hours of game play. And it cost me not a cent. Sure I could advance faster and do more if I spent money in the game; Why should they give me anything and everything for free?
They are not letting me play the game because they are nice guys, they are here to make money.
I’ve played games that came with my Laptop that locked up after 20 minutes of game play and told me my FREE TIME was up and I would have to buy the game to continue, but I don’t see any websites dedicated to trashing those games.
Evony is free, you can play it and never spend any cash. If you don’t like that, don’t play
