So, you’re in a war and can’t seem to get a leg up on your enemy. Every move you make seems to be countered and your spys are getting killed at the gates. There is either a leak or you’re getting smoked, but we can only help you with one of them.

First, start limiting membership to high level prestige players. (at least 50k, preferably more) spy accounts, generally will be lower prestige because it’s someone from another alliance that is using a second character to spy. They don’t spend as much time as they do on their main & usually just listen and act like a newbie.

Boot players that are active, with lower prestige, that don’t actively fight in your wars. A spy isn’t very useful if you’re making him send on his allies. Initiation should require an attack on all major war victims. If they aren’t war ready, with a willingness to attack your enemy what good are they?

If an alliance is gearing up for a war, a plant will be tougher to find. This is why it is KEY to private message or mail major attack planning or set up a private chatroom for coordinating attacks.

Don’t post locations in Alliance chat, no matter how certain you are that your alliance is without a mole you should always err on the side of caution.
