It takes a LOT of patience to get medals. i have been hitting valleys a lot, and medal drops are very low. if you arent having luck with one valley, try another. just keep at it, and eventually you will get something

I’ve only once ever got a medal drop from a valley that wasn’t level 10. That was a cross medal on a lvl 5 flat. Stick to hitting only lvl 10 valleys and you will find medals

Its just a mater of chance. I got a wisdom and a courage the first two hills i hit (lvl 10) nothing since then, jus gotta keep at it

i have got to Viscount by attacking valleys for medals. the way to do this is to scout all lvl 10 valleys in your area after maintanance and then only attack the ones that have NO cav or archers. attack them every hr, dont take them, just farm them.
but do not expect a medal all the time, it takes patience and persistance.

i am in the new age 2 and nothing no medals gained apart from medals boxes from the start or if i win them (once a day wheel of fourtune) barely get them. My whole alliance can’t find them and we have been looking for days and nothing. Though we did get 1 medal (alliance) its soo bad that we can’t get higher ranks because we need medals!!

hitting low level valleys with the conquer-abandon every 20sec won’t work,at least it didn’t for me.just attack level 8-10 flats,remember scout and than attack.here is the report on a level8 flat from server 130

Higher level valley work better,usually lakes contain cross medals(which most of us don’t need to be honest) ,deserts/forests lion medals,but also lake can contain lion/rose/justice/honor medals but they are very rare

Rose Medal-can be obtained from level8-10 flats

honor/justice/freedom/courage you can find in level 10 NPC ,i also found a courage medal in a level 10 forest by the way

p.s. high honor helps too but lower percentage of troops can be healed

btw…people might tell you to choose valleys that don’t have archers/cavalrys defending…they say that because you won’t take losses..don’t be afraid to lose some troops remember scout the valley first and than decide what to send…well,of course its possible to get medal from valleys that don’t have archers/cavalrys defending but it might be harder and take longer to get medals..remember you get the medals you promote yourself and you can have more cities,and more cities means more troops,yeah,by keeping town hall low level and title/rank low will help you to gain prestige,but im not a prestige farmer…prestige i gain by training troops,upgrading,researching,attacking etc.

well medals are not hard to get..i play on server 130..you just need to know how to get a medal..but i did have trouble finding rose medals..still trying to get one tho
i have to lion medals from level10 lake ,and mostly from level10 deserts.I have got crap lots if cross medal from lake,also a justice medal from level10 lake.Many people in my alliance get rose medals from level8-10 flats,maybe you could try that,im still trying tho…and i have also got a hero hunting from level6 npc (battle130.evony.com/default.html?logfile/20100323/91/70/9170b90611532f391dd583df8bf368dd.xml) high honor helps but less troops can be healed(which i really don’t care i can replace lost troops in 24hours)if you have any questions you can send me an IGM()in game message) to LiLAus on server 130,I am in Moravia if you need help message me on there and I’ll help you out.Good Luck and Happy hunting;]

Ive been hunting on level 10 flats for 2 days now, I found 2 rose & 2 cross medals. Not bad, I think. Consecutively attacking 3 times with high intel heroes…. took me less than 100 attacks03.14
